Censinet, Inc. (“Censinet”, “we” or “us”) collects certain information from you (“you” or “User”) when one of the following applies: (1) you visit and interact with Censinet’s public-facing website www.censinet.com (the “Public-Facing Site”), (2) the connect.censinet.com website (the “Product Site”), and (3) any other website controlled by Censinet that links to or references this Privacy Policy (collectively, including the Public-Facing Site and the Product Site, the “Sites”), (2) use Censinet’s software and services to assess, manage, and develop best practices associated with the ongoing risk of third party vendor management (the “Censinet Product”), and/or (3) use any other software, products or online services provided to you by Censinet that reference this Privacy Policy (collectively, including the Sites and the Censinet Product, the “Services”).

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your choices related to your information. This Privacy Policy is in addition to, and is intended to supplement, any other agreements between you (or your employer) and Censinet, including any customer or account agreements, and any other agreements that govern User’s use of information, content, tools, products and services available on or through the Services (each, an “Other Agreement”). If you or your employer is a party to any Other Agreement, the terms of the Other Agreement will control over any conflicting terms of this Privacy Policy.

Scope of this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy covers information about yourself as required by Censinet to enable access to the Services (“Profile Data”) and other demographic, usage and personal information relating to you and your use of the Services. The types of information we collect is described below in the section “What Information We Collect”. For the avoidance of doubt, this Privacy Policy does not govern (i) questionnaires, assessments, information relating to business practices and other information that does not relate to you individually and that is collected as part of your use of the Services on behalf of your employer, and (ii) any information that is disclosed between your organization and Censinet pursuant to an Other Agreement.

Our Services may contain links to other sites that are not owned or controlled by us. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such other sites. We encourage you to be aware when you leave our Sites. Children’s Information

Censinet respects the privacy of all online users, especially children. Our Services are not intended for use by children under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect information, including personal information as defined by the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian of a child under the age of 13 and believe he or she has disclosed personal information to us, you may contact us at support@censinet.com to request that we delete and stop use of that information. If we learn that we have received any information directly from a child under age 13 without first receiving his or her parent’s verified consent, we will use that information only to respond directly to that child (or his or her parent or legal guardian) to inform the child that he or she cannot use the Services. We will then subsequently delete that child’s information.

How We Protect Your Information

The security of Personal Information is important to us. We use reasonable safeguards aimed to protect against unauthorized use, disclosure, alteration or destruction of the Personal Information we collect and maintain. You should keep in mind, however, that no data transmitted over the Internet is 100% secure and any information disclosed online can potentially be collected and used by parties other than the intended recipient. The Services are intended for use in the United States of America only. All matters relating to our Services are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the United States of America. If you visit our Services or contact us from outside of the United States of America, please be advised that (i) any information you provide to us or that we automatically collect will be transferred to the United States of America; and (ii) that by using our Services or submitting information, you explicitly authorize its transfer to and subsequent processing in the United States of America in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
